This course introduces various departments of hotels and resorts, their functions, the contribution of each department in the hotel business, internal management of hospitality, work culture, style, profiles, and opportunities.
Introduction to tourism destinations worldwide and their geography, introduction to basics of computer software and hardware, IT, internet and networking with special reference to online reservation software and their application in Tourism and hospitality industry is also given. Accounting and group behaviour is also taught.
