The NTU Excellence Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and postgraduate students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the university community. Trent University has two campuses in Peterborough and Durham which is a part of the Greater Toronto Area. The Peterborough campus has recently worked on opening a new Student Centre in 2017. The campus at Durham is currently expanding after opening in 2020 which also features a new campus eatery.
