The qualifying CAT cutoff of IIM Trichy is the minimum percentile that candidates must meet to be eligible for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round while the final CAT cutoff is the percentile that candidates must obtain to participate in the WAT/GD-PI round. The former is released with the admission criteria of the institute before the CAT exam while the latter is released after the declaration of CAT result. Also, the final CAT cutoff is always higher than the qualifying cutoff.

An application is successfully submitted only after the application fee payment. Candidates can make payment through NEFT in favour of IIMT. The duration of IIM Trichy DPM/PhD course is five-years. The maximum duration by which a candidate must complete the course is seven years.
