About 30% of students were placed in the college. Various private companies like Maruti Suzuki, TATA and Networking companies recruited mechanical engineers. Students got internships from various types of company. According to the report, a total of 141 PG students were placed during Tripura University placements 2022. The median package offered to PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 3 LPA and INR 2.60 LPA, respectively. For PG (3-year) courses, the median package stood at INR 10 LPA.

Tripura University provides good placement opportunities for its students, including those pursuing B.Tech. With over 70 percent of placement record and average package being INR 6.2 Lacs per annum and INR 6.9 Lacs per annum for UG and PG courses respectively, Manipur University offers better placement than Tripura University.
