The Period for which the institution, Tripura University, has served is vast. Over time it achieved the status of state university in 1987 and finally central university in 2007. Also they claim to incorporate students from different cultural and social backgrounds.They offer 19 Programmes under Science course, 26 Programmes under Arts & Commerce course and 2 Vocational under graduate Programmes. This amount of variety is often hard to find in colleges under different courses.Hope this helps.

As the name suggests Tripura university is a university consisting of various fields such as forty courses including Science and mathematics and arts and programs like Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma also multiple doctorate courses ranging in varieties. However, being the oldest university in Tripura, the infrastructure development. Also unavailablity of modern day equipment's in laboratories or updated resources in libraries. In addition the geographical area can also create difficulties for students in terms of availability of services and facilities like transportation or internet connectivity.
