The Norwegian University of Science and Technology does not offer on campus accommodation to international students. Therefore, international students must arrange for their accommodation and housing all by themselves. However, most of the student housing in Trondheim are owned by Student Welfare Housing (Sit). Standard rooms are single rooms in a shared apartment (shared living room, kitchen and bathrooms). The cheapest single rooms start at about NOK 4,300/INR 33.88k, - plus utilities. On average, you should expect to budget for at least NOK 5,500/INR 43.34k, - per month for rent and utilities.*NOK/INR = 7.88
