All of the courses at the college are available to students in a regular, offline mode. The JBIT admission is offered to all of its programmes based on a candidate's performance in the relevant entrance exam and the most recent qualifying exam. The college accepts a number of entrance tests for admission, including TS EAMCET (for B.Tech courses), and GATE or TS PGCET (for M.Tech courses).

The results for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2024 will be available on the official website, eapcet.tsche.ac.in. The result for TS EAMCET exam conducted this year and for Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Ranga Reddy is announced in the month of June or July after the successful conduction of the examination. The exact date is fixed by the TSCHE. Counselling process starts after results and the candidates who desires to get the seats according to the obtained ranks cansubmit their application. The last round cutoff of TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) for computer Science and engineering was 34317 (R1), for artificial intelligence 38k (R1), for electronics and computer Engineering it was 36k (R1). Overall with a rank of 38k you can get admission in J.B. Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Mainly qualifying TS EAMCET, admission takes place in B.E./B.Tech courses offered by Indur Institute of Engineering and Technology. Candidates must have at least 45% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for minimum eligibility criterion while applying through management quota can be considered, this being an institute, direct admission is therefore feasible. However, valid score in TS EAMCET is highly recommended for regular admissions. Directly check management quota admissions from the college.
