TSICET Counselling is offered by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) in three stages. All eligible and qualified candidates may participate in the first counselling phase according to their TSICET rank. Depending on their interests and the availability of seats, candidates are free to choose the colleges and courses that best suit them. Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) conducts TS ICET counselling in two exam phases; the first phase and the final phase. In case the seats remain vacant in the TS ICET participating colleges after the first and final phase of counselling, the participating institute will conduct offline counselling round, that is supplementary counselling. Both first and final phase of TS ICET counselling are conducted online on the TS ICET counselling portal.

Candidates aspiring for admissions based on TS ICET ranks have to attend the TS ICET counselling. TSCHE conducts the TS ICET counselling online. Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) released the TS ICET 2023 counselling dates with the counselling registration that was to start from August 14. However, the counselling was postponed. As per the revised counselling schedule for TS ICET MBA admissions, candidates were allowed to participate in the counselling process from September 6. The counselling registration was hosted until September 11, while the candidates had to appear for the certificate verification until September 12.
