Different categories with different cutoff scores for admission based on TSICET scores are as follows
- OC Boys
- OC Girls
- BCA Boys
- BCA Girls
- BC-B Boys
- BC-B Girls
- BC-D Boys
- BC-D Boys
- BC-E Boys
- BC-E Girls
There can be instances when two or more categories have a similar cutoff rank. However, the reservation benefits can vary for all categories. Additionally, candidates can only take admission under a specific category if they have the relevant documents as proof of their category claim. Candidates without the relevant category Certificate can only apply for admission based on OC category.

The primary aim of the normalisation of marks in the TSICET examination process is to ensure that all students are evaluated on a similar scale. TSICET score normalisation guarantees that no test taker gets an advantage or a disadvantage due to multiple exam shifts. TSICET rank is allotted based on the normalised scores of the test takers. However, there can be cases when scores of two or more test takers are similar. In such cases, Kakatiya University will allot the TSICET rank by following the below mentioned chronological process -
1. First preference will be given to the test takers with a higher score in section A of TSICET exam.
2. In case the candidates have an equal score in section A, then the candidate with higher marks in section B will be preferred for rank allotment.
3. If the tie persists after considering the scores in Section A and B, TSCHE considers the age of the two candidates.

Every year, with the release of TSICET notification, TSCHE notifies the qualifying cutoff, also known as qualifying score. Candidates appearing for the TSICET exam must meet the qualifying cutoff to participate in the counselling process. For TSICET 2023, qualifying cutoff has not changed from the previous session, I. e. 25 per cent for unreserved category candidates. Those who belong to reserved categories are eligible for the counselling, irrespective of their scores. Out of 200 marks, your category candidates have to secure 50 marks to be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

No. Candidates will not receive any physical copy of the TSICET socrecard/rank card. After declaration of the TSICET results, candidates must login on the official web portal of Telangana ICET, available on icet. Tsche. AC. In to download and take the print of the TSICET rank card. No other mode is available to obtain the rank card. Kakatiya University will not entertain any requests from the candidates regarding the issuance of rank card via email, post or fax.

No. Kakatiya University terms the TSICET result as rank card. Candidates can view and download rank cards from the official website. Candidates will have to get the TSICET rank card verified at the time of counselling process. While checking the TSICET results, candidates can download the PDF copy of the rank card by clicking the 'Print' button available beneath the result window. TSICET ranks are based on the normalised scores of the candidate, calculated using the specified formulae.
