It is mandatory, and if you miss it, your counselling will be postponed for a considerable while. Since your counselling dates will be posted to you rank wise for a day, do not miss that date of counselling, since there a lot of students waiting for counselling so they will be able to get counselled while you may have to wait.

I'm afraid you will not get admission, but try counselling. If you are not OC open category and maybe you can get a seat in either OU or JNTU. I got TSICET rank of 706 in 2017, and I still didn't get OU or CBIT seat and I was OC. But, yours is 450 rank, so there might be a better chance of getting a seat in those colleges. It will also depend on what caste you are from and your income certificate, so chances will be nil, but nevertheless you'll get a seat in top 10 colleges in Telangana. All the best.

Go to counselling website and put in your rank to see which college accepts your rank and get counselled accordingly, so you will 100% sure about which college you will get with the rank you've got. Moreover all MBA colleges except B-schools in Telangana will accept TSICET ranking but only after you get counselling done. So it's up to your rank and caste reservations quota that you can get good colleges. Mostly you'll get seat in colleges like
Bhavan's Vivekananda College
SVU
Loyola etc.

You will, depending on your caste that is if you're not OC open category, or if very less people have Telangana University as target for MBA in counselling. So if you're not OC, then you can get a seat in Telangana University, but there is still a chance of getting seat if you're OC or not, since Telangana University does not fall in the League of top 5 colleges in Telangana.
