TSTET Cut-off

The criteria to qualify for the TSTET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) exam are as follows:1. Eligibility Criteria:  - For Paper-I (Primary Level): Candidates should have completed or should be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).  - For Paper-II (Upper Primary Level): Candidates should have completed or should be appearing in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).2. Qualifying Marks: Candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks to pass the TSTET exam. The qualifying marks are as follows:  - General Category: 60% marks (90 marks out of 150)  - BC Category: 50% marks (75 marks out of 150)  - SC/ST/Differently Abled Category: 40% marks (60 marks out of 150)3. Weightage of TSTET Scores: The TSTET scores are considered for recruitment of teachers in schools under the Government of Telangana. However, the weightage of TSTET scores may vary depending on the recruitment rules and guidelines issued by the respective authorities.
