The Department of School Education, Telangana, has released the syllabus for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) on its official website. The TS TET syllabus for 2024 covers subjects like Mathematics, Child Development and Pedagogy, Languages (Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati), Language-II (English), and Environmental Studies. The applicants should have at least completed their graduation or Diploma in elementary education. Also, candidates should be older than 18 years and younger than 35 years.For the General category, the minimum passing percentage is 60%, while it's 50% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST/PwD. There are differences between the TSTET syllabus for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Since the exam's purpose is to determine whether applicants are qualified to teach different classes, Paper 1 and Paper 2 have separate syllabuses. Candidates who plan to teach classes I through V should submit Paper 1, and candidates who plan to teach classes VI through VIII should submit Paper 2. Topics include Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Telugu/Kannada/Urdu), Language II (English), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies are covered in the Paper 1 syllabus. However, subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Telugu/Kannada/Urdu), Language II (English), Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies are covered in the Paper 2 syllabus.

Candidates who want to teach grades 1 through 5 in Telangana schools must complete Paper 1. Candidates who want to teach grades 6 through 8 in Telangana schools should fill out Paper 2. Papers 1 and 2 have different curricula and examination formats. The candidate's selected language provides the basis for the language 1 portion in Paper 1. Paper 2's language 1 section isn't focused on any particular language. 4. All candidates must complete the language 2 portion in English on both examinations. 5. Each paper lasts for two hours and thirty minutes. 6. To be eligible for the TSTET exam, candidates must receive at least 60% of the possible points.

The criteria to qualify for the TSTET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) exam are as follows:1. Eligibility Criteria:  - For Paper-I (Primary Level): Candidates should have completed or should be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).  - For Paper-II (Upper Primary Level): Candidates should have completed or should be appearing in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).2. Qualifying Marks: Candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks to pass the TSTET exam. The qualifying marks are as follows:  - General Category: 60% marks (90 marks out of 150)  - BC Category: 50% marks (75 marks out of 150)  - SC/ST/Differently Abled Category: 40% marks (60 marks out of 150)3. Weightage of TSTET Scores: The TSTET scores are considered for recruitment of teachers in schools under the Government of Telangana. However, the weightage of TSTET scores may vary depending on the recruitment rules and guidelines issued by the respective authorities.
