Tufts University provides test options for standardized testing including SAT, and ACT. If students want to submit their SAT or ACT scores, the university will review their application in a nuanced and contextual way. If they choose not to submit, the university holistic committee will review it without considering those scores. The Committee gives precedence to academic and extracurricular accomplishments while selecting students rather than standardized testing.

Tufts University provides test options for GRE scores. Earlier, the university used to consider these scores but now most of the programs waive the GRE requirements. Students who want to submit their scores are recommended to take their exam at least one month before the application deadline. However, the university will review the GRE scores if required by the programme to which students are applying.

The cost of attendance at Duke University is slightly cheaper (5-6%) than that at Tufts University. This is however not definitive since many courses at Duke University are costlier than at Tufts so if you know the department you want to apply to, you can search up their tuition fees to do the comparative analysis. The usual trend observes a slight increase in fees at Tufts in comparison to Duke.
