No, candidates who have qualified UCEED can get admission to BDes course of VIT Vellore. Also, VITEEE is valid for BTech programme. Aspirants who have not qualified UCEED can appear for VIT-DAT conducted by VIT Vellore. The university evaluates the performance of the candidates in UCEED, portfolio and personal interview round for selection. Portfolio is presentation of original creative works like sketching, drawing, painting, craft works, and photography, etc.

To be considered for admission to UCEED 2025 participating institutes, the candidates need to meet the following conditions simultaneously: Age limit - The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1999. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of five years. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati B.Des admission is based on candidates' performance in the UCEED exam, followed by a councelling process. IIT Guwahati B.Des cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 3 Seat Allotment Result. As per the IIT Guwahati cutoff 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 11 and 14, respectively for the ST category students. So, candidates seeking admisison to this institute must secure a rank between 10 and 15 to get a seat for B.Des. It is mandatory for candidates to get shortlisted to be included in the merit rank. Note that only such candidates who qualify Part A will get shortlisted.IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A around the 2nd week of February 2025. All candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will get shortlisted.Further, only shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in the UCEED 2025 couneling process.

The results for the UCEED 2025 exam will be announced online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The direct result link will be provided in this article.Note that the result will not be sent by post or any other means, including by email.To check their results, the candidate needs to log in to the result portal using their email ID and password. The results of UCEED 2025 will be declared on March 7, 2025. IIT Bombay will release the draft answer key on Janaury 21, 2025, while the FINAL key will be released on January 29, 2025.

A total of 205 B. Des seats are offered by the five UCEED 2024 participating institutes. IIT Bombay conducts a Joint Admission Process for filling these seats. The allotment of seats will be based on UCEED 2024 merit rank and campus selected at the time of UCEED 2024 counseling registration. The online registration for UCEED 2024 counseling will be held from March 14 to 31, 2024. The allotment of UCEED 2024 seats will be based on:UCEED 2023 merit rank of the candidate and Choice opted at the time of choice filling.IIT Bombay will conduct registration for counseling from March 14-31, 2024. Candidates who are allocated a merit rank in UCEED 2024 have to select campuses in the order of priority. Note that the allocation of seats will be done institute and category-wise. Candidates who have been allocated seats will have to get their documents verified and pay the admission fees.UCEED 2024 counseling will have THREE seat allotment rounds. The 1st allotment will be made on Apri 10, 2024.

The UCEED 2025 scorecard will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. The scorecard will be available for downloaded from March 10, 2025 onward. The scorecard will contain the Part A marks for all candidates who appeared in the UCEED 2025 entrance exam. However, Part B, total marks, and merit ranks will be released only for candidates who qualify Part A. Using the UCEED scorecard, the candidate can get admission to B. Des programme offered by participating and result-sharing institutions.
