No, one can not join IDC IIT Bombay without qualifying UCEED for B.Des. The eligibility criteria for getting admission into the college is that one should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent ) from the recognised Board/Examination.UCEED is an exam of 300 marks. It has 3 sections. It is usually conducted in the January month and the results are declared in February. The examination is an MCQ-based question paper.

Yes, CEPT University accepts UCEED scores for admission to its BDes courses. To be eligible candidates must pass a Class 12 with 50% aggregate from Gujarat state board or any other State boards or CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/IB. Candidates must apply and appear for the UCEED  and score good aggregate to grab the seat.

The Department of Design, IITD, is set ton introduce a B.Tech in Design program from the upcoming admission session.It will have an intake of 20 students in the first batch. It is a 4 year program. The intake will be based on JEE advanced merit rank.The aspirants also must have qualified the design aptitute test, namely UCEED.The candidate can check out the full details of the exam on the IIT Delhi admission portal.

To study BDes at IIT Bombay, candidate must appear in the UCEED and attain the require the neccessary rank. IIT Bombay BDes Cutoff 2024 among the General AI category candidates was 14. IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for the 1st round of UCEED 2025 seat allotment on April 21, 2025.The cut-off will be released category-wise for all the participating colleges and include the opening and closing ranks for admission to the B.Des program.
