The admission cut-off for Round I of UCEED 2025 will be released alongside the seat allotment results on April 21, 2025.This will be followed by 2nd allotment on May 19, 2025. The 3rd round of allotment will be declared on June 10, 2025.The cut-off has been released in the form of category-wise opening and closing ranks. Also, the cut-off is released for all the participating institutes. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will get admission to the B. Des programme. However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off criteria, he or she will be considered for admission in subsequent rounds. Note that UCEED 2025 counseling will have FIVE seat allotment rounds, and for each round a separate cut-off would be released.Note that the Part A cut-off will be released on February 6, 2024.

UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur.
CSD (Centre for Studies in Design) is a department of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K). CSD offers a four-year B.Tech program in Engineering Science with a specialization in Design.
To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech in Engineering Science with a specialization in Design program at CSD, IIT Kanpur, the candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
Diploma holders from West Bengal are eligible for admission to the lateral entry B.Tech program offered by various colleges and universities. However, to apply for B.Tech in Engineering Science with a specialization in Design program at CSD, IIT Kanpur, the candidate needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
Additionally, clearing UCEED does not make a candidate eligible for admission to the B.Tech in Engineering Science with a specialization in Design program at CSD, IIT Kanpur. The candidate needs to appear for JEE Advanced and qualify for the same to be eligible for admission to the program.
Therefore, a diploma holder from West Bengal cannot apply for B.Tech in CSD after clearing UCEED. However, the candidate can consider applying for lateral entry B.Tech programs offered by other colleges and universities.
