No, direct admission is not possible for UG level Engneering courses at UEM. To get admission to BTech at UEM Kolkata, candidates must appear for IEMJEE entrance exam, which is conducted by UEM. Students can appear for this exam in either online or offline mode. Find per the instructions given on the official website, candidates can refer to JEE Main exam pattern for online exam and WB JELET for offline exam. UEM Kolkata is a private university approved by the AICTE, UGC, and the Bar Council of India. UEM Kolkata is also a Member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London, UK, and AIU. Moreover, it is also accredited by ICRA. UEM Kolkata has a total of 6 campuses and one of them is in Kolkata.

To be admitted to the BTech programme at UEM Kolkata, students must meet the minimum qualifying standards. Applicants for this course must have passed their Science stream in Class 12. A valid result from UEM Kolkata's internal entrance test is accepted for admission to the BTech program. In order to admit qualified candidates to its engineering disciplines, the college administers the IEMJEE. Admission to the BTech programme at UEM Kolkata would be extended to those who pass this exam with a valid score.

Around 60% to 65% of students got placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. TCS, Capgemini, Nestle, Wipro, and Reliance Retail, etc.

NIT Kolkata is an edge above to UEM Kolkata in various factors like fees, recognition, NIRF ranking, year of establishment, infrastructure and value for money, which makes NIT Kolkata, the most optimum choice to pursue Computer Science engineering.

The application fee for the MBA programme at UEM Kolkata is not mentioned on the offcial websites. However, the average  fees for the MBA programme are approximately INR 2.3 Lakhs for the primary year. There are 26 courses offered in his college and is approved by UGC, BCI, AICTE.
