The UGAT exam is held for two hours or 120 minutes. There is only one slot for the UGAT exam. The candidates need to solve the question paper in 120 minutes and this means that the candidates will have less than a minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of marking their answers at every step as the moment 120 minutes will get over, the candidates will be asked to stop writing. The UGAT exam is conducted in the morning shift, i.e. from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates can choose upto five UGAT test cities according to their preference. Candidates must very carefully select the cities as once the UGAT application form is submitted, they can't change city preference. They should choose the first city of preference as their hometome or where they are residing as the exam authorities will likely allot the test centres to candidates in their first city of preference. Candidates are allotted a test centre in second or third preference only if the seats have been filled or the exam centre has been cancelled at that location. Candidates should know that the UGAT test cities cannot be changed once
