UGAT Counselling

Candidates for UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test) counselling are normally required to provide certain documents for verification and admission. These normally contain Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, Transfer Certificate (TC) or School Leaving Certificate (SLC), Character Certificate, Category Certificate (if applicable for reserved categories), Admit Card, and UGAT entrance exam scorecard. Passport-sized photos and confirmation of identity may also be requested. Candidates should ensure that all documents are originals or duly attested copies as per the counselling guidelines supplied by the respective university or institution conducting UGAT counselling.

Yes, it is mandatory for all candidates to attend the document verification round as part of the UGAT counselling process. During the document verification process, candidates must present their original documents for verification and provide their biometric details. The purpose of document verification is to ensure that the candidate is eligible for admission to the selected course and to avoid fraudulent activities. Candidates who do not attend the document verification round will be marked ineligible from the admission process through UGAT scores. Such candidates will not be considered for the seat allotment round also. The UGAT counselling is conducted in online as well as offline mode. Candidates who have qualified for UGAT exam must register themselves online through the official website. However, the Personal Interview WAT/GD and document verification round under the counselling process is held offline at the designated helpline centres. Candidates who meet the UGAT cutoff, need to visit the centre for document verification as per their rank and other selection rounds such as PI and WAT. The seat allotment process is also conducted online based on the merit, category, and choices filled by the candidate during the registration process. Candidates can check their allotment status on the official website. The entire UGAT counselling process except the PI WATand document verification round is conducted in online mode.
