UGAT Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for UGAT may vary slightly each year. However, based on the general eligibility criteria, the following criteria are typically applicable:Age Limit: There is no age bar to be eligible to appear for UGAT exam. However, candidates need to fulfil the other UGAT eligiblity norms.Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination from arecognised board or institution. The qualifying examination should be completed in the year of the UGAT exam or in the preceding years.Minimum Percentage: General and Non-Creamy Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC) category candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Class 10 and Class 12 standard examinations. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories, a minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required.

All India Management Association (AIMA) has prescribed the UGAT eligibility criteria for admission to undergraduate programmes such as Integrated MBA,  BBA,  BCA and BHM and other courses. The UGAT eligibility criteria are the requirements that the applicants must fulfil before filling out the UGAT 2024 application form. The basic AIMA UGAT eligibility criteria state that the candidate must have completed Class 12. Applicants must fulfil the below-mentioned UGAT eligibility criteria in order to appear for the exam:The applicant must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board.The applicant must have secured at least 50% aggregate in Class 12.The applicants awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply for the UGAT exam.There is no age bar to appear for the UGAT exam. The applicants from any stream, i.e. Arts, Commerce and Science can apply for the exam.The applicant must be a citizen of India if he/she wishes to appear for the UGAT 2024 exam.
