Hello,
No, you cannot appear directly for UGC NET exam after B.Tech. First, you have to complete M.Tech then only you can give UGC NET.

Hello,
As per the NTA guidelines, aspirants who have qualified master's degree or are enrolled in the post-graduation, can apply for the exam. So, to appear for the exam, firstly you have to enroll in LL. M. degree. Before applying for the exam make sure you fulfill other requirements also. To appear for the exam, you have to score at least 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC category or 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PwD category in the post-graduation. UGC net is country one of the toughest examinations. Even after the best preparations, many candidates may not appear in the examination due to the eligibility factors. It may be anything as age limit, qualification, etc. Candidates appearing for UGC NET Exam must satisfy the following conditions related to age limit and educational qualification before the application. There are some reservation criteria in UGC NET Exam for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and Transgenders. If you qualify the UGC NET Exam with having 54% aggregate marks in postgraduation, it is fine. Hello, To appear in the UGC NET the minimum qualification required to appear is Masters degree with minimum 55% of marks then only you can apply for the UGC NET Exam. If you have completed your MBA from the IT stream then, you can apply for UGC NET Computer Application The National Eligibility Test is conducted for 81 subjects. The exam is organized twice a year by NTA in June and December Months. Recently the exam was held from 20th to 28th June 2019. The upcoming exam will be held in Dec 2019. Hello,The National Eligibility Test conducts the UGC NET Exam twice a year. According to the NTA guidelines, aspirants have to choose the same or the related subject in which they have completed their post-graduation. According to the NET exam guidelines you can apply for the exam in the subject which you had in post-graduation or related to that. Therefore, you are not eligible for UGC NET Electronic Science. However, you can appear for CSIR NET exam. This exam is organized for the science stream candidates who want to become researcher or lecturer. CSIR NET is conducted in five subjects. As per your post-graduation subject, you can apply for the physical science. However, make sure, you fulfill the eligibility criteria of CSIR NET Physical Sciences. Hello Satheesh,
Yes, you can apply for the UGC NET Electronics exam. The UGC NET exam is national level exam, which is held for the junior research fellowship and to become an assistant professor. The Candidates can apply for the NET exam if they have completed the post-graduation degree. Refer official notification at NTA website for the eligibility details.
In addition, you need to choose the subject in which you have completed the PG degree. As you have completed the post-graduation in nano-science, you can apply for UGC NET Electronics. You also need to fulfill the age limit criteria for JRF while lectureship does not require any age
