Hello Afiya, NTA expanded the age limit for the UGC NET exam. UGC NET age limit criteria are as follows:
The minimum age required is 30 years (general category), 33years LL. M. graduates), 35 years (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender/Female candidates). There is no age limit for the post of an Assistant Professor. The minimum educational qualification required is that a candidate has completed their Post-Graduation with the minimum 55% (General category) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender). Aspirants who pursued master's degree in Education can apply for UGC NET Education subject. This is the minimum eligibility criteria for the National Eligibility Test. If you are applying for UGC NET for JRF then the age limit is 30 years. But if you want to apply for Lectureship then there is no age limit. Hello Navdeep,
As per the NTA guidelines for UGC NET exam, candidates can apply for the exam with the subject in which they have completed Masters' degree or related to that subject. You have done post-graduation in hospital Management so, you can appear for the UGC NET Management exam, not for UGC NET Tourism Administration. If you want to apply for UGC NET Tourism Administration & Management then firstly you have to do Masters in Tourism Administration or in the subject that is related to that.

Hello Navdeep,
To apply for NTA NET exam, you should have a Masters' degree from UGC approved university with at least 55% marks. It doesn't matter in which format you have completed your degree. As per your subject you can apply for UGC NET Tourism & Management exam. If you want to appear for Junior Research Fellowship, you must fulfil the age criteria also i.e. 30 years. OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Transgenders category' aspirants get relaxation of 5 years.

Hello Brahmmala, As per the NTA guidelines candidates who have completed their Masters degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks (for General) or 50% aggregate marks (for OBC/SC/ST/PwD) or are in the qualifying year can apply for the UGC NET exam. UGC NET exam is conducted in 81 subjects. Candidates can apply for the UGC NET exam with their post graduation subject or related to that. Hello Jahnavi, As per your qualifications you are eligible to appear for the UGC NET Exam for English subject. But Jahnavi, pursuing the Masters is not the only eligibility criteria to appear in the UGC NET Exam. You must fulfil other eligibility criteria too. They are:
1. Age criteria:
The eligibility of the age is divided into two parts; first for the post of an Assistant Professor and the other one is for JRF candidates. The maximum age limit for JRF is 30 years and there is no age limit for an Assistant Professor.

Hello,
You can apply for UGC NET undoubtedly but if you are pursuing M.Tech then you will be eligible for fellowship on after completion of M.Tech. As you said that your subject is power electronics, so you can apply for the exam in electronics science subject.

According to recent news, NTA has started the UGC NET 2019 apply online process from 1st March 2019. You can apply for the exam till 30th March 2019. Before filling the application form, firstly collect all the documents which are required. Documents are as follow:
(I)Aadhar Card and any other identity card.
(ii) Class 10th Marksheet, class 12th Marksheet, Marksheet of Graduation & Marksheet of Masters Graduation.(iii)Scanned passport sized photograph and signature
