The cutoff marks differs for each sections and papers. The qualifying marks also plays a role in different categories. If you belong from general category and the cutoff is 50 percentile, you will not be able to clear the exam. Moreover it is also required to clear and maintain specific marks in both the papers of UGC NET.

Yes, candidates who have completed an MA in Hindi are eligible to apply for UGC NET irrespective of the discipline in which they have completed their Bachelor’s degree. They must have secured at least 55% in MA Hindi and should have completed the course from a recognised institute. Yes, a B.Tech graduate can fill human resource management as a subject in the UGC NET JRF exam. According to the eligibility criteria:Candidates with a 4-year bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field are eligible to appear for the UGC NET in Human Resource Management (Code 55).The subject you can write the UGC NET exam in is the same as your postgraduate degree subject. The UGC NET 2024 exam was cancelled due to compromise in the integrity of the exam. The information of the compromise was provided by the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs on the Examination. the investigation of the UGC NET exam compromise has been handed over to the Crime  Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I). The new exam date for the UGC NET exam will be shared soon.
