The UGC NET Exam is for all those aspirants who want to become lecturer or researcher after pursuing the Masters'. If you want to become a lecturer, then it is compulsory to pursue Masters. To appear in UGC NET Exam, you must secure at least 55% aggregate marks in postgraduation. The difficulty level of the exam is quite high, but if you prepare with the best study material & with a proper study plan then it will be easy to qualify it. The exam is conducted twice a year. You can apply for any of these two sessions.

Hello Bibhu,
According to UGC NET guidelines, candidates can apply for the exam with the subjects in which they have cleared their post graduation or related to that subject. As per your subject, you are eligible to take UGC NET exam with Environmental Science subject. The minimum eligibility criterion is that the student must have passed M.Phil degree or should have done post-graduation in any relevant discipline with an aggregate of at least 55% marks. The study should have been done from a recognised university listed under UGC or a recognised institution of higher education.

Yes, you can apply for the NET exam, Let me tell you that CSIR NET and UGC NET exam is national level exam, which is organized for selection of candidates for lectureship and junior research fellowship. The CSIR NET exam is held for Science stream candidate for life Science, physical Science, chemical Science, Mathematical Science, and earth science. While the UGC NET exam is held for 81 subjects. According to the recent NTA UGC NET notification released on 21st August 2019, candidates will be able to fill the UGC NET application form till 9th Oct 2019. By 10th Oct 2019, candidates will be able to pay the fee for the exam. Coming to the UGC NET Form corrections, UGC NET Online Application corrections for 2019 will start from 13th Sept 2019. Candidates will be able to download the UGC NET admit cards from 9th Nov 2019 and the exam will be conducted from 2nd to 6th Dec 2019.

Hi,
UGC NET Exam is divided into two Papers I. e. Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper-1 consist of 50 question for 100 marks with no negative marking. It is compulsory paper and common for all the aspirant. Paper-2 consist of 100 question for 200 marks with no negative marking. It is an optional paper which is opted by the candidate at the time of filling the application form, according to their Post-Graduation course or related. Data Interpretation
