But, as per the UGC guidelines, you have to complete your post-graduation within 3 years of time period, because if you qualify the exam and not qualified the exam within limited time, then in this case your certificate will be disqualified. NTA conducts the UGC NET twice in a year in a month of June and December. UGC NET follows the exam pattern as follows:

As you have completed your post-graduation in sustainable energy, you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET Environmental Science and the code no. Is 89.
