Hello Satheesh,
According to the NET exam guidelines you can apply for the exam in the subject which you had in post-graduation or related to that. Therefore, you are not eligible for UGC NET Electronic Science. However, you can appear for CSIR NET exam. This exam is organized for the science stream candidates who want to become researcher or lecturer. CSIR NET is conducted in five subjects. As per your post-graduation subject, you can apply for the physical science. However, make sure, you fulfill the eligibility criteria of CSIR NET Physical Sciences. Hi Carmel,
The UGC NET Exam is scheduled to be held from 20 June to 28 June. The UGC has given a chance to choose the exam center at the time of filling application form. Usually the exam center is allocated to candidates as per their choice, but there are some chances that they can be allotted different centers. If you have found any error in admit card like correction in name, address or anything, contact to UGC officials who are responsible for it. The admit card for UGC NET exam is out and you can download it from official website at: https://ntanet.nic.in/ntanet/root/LoginPageDob.aspx

Hello Satheesh,
Yes, you can apply for the UGC NET Electronics exam. The UGC NET exam is national level exam, which is held for the junior research fellowship and to become an assistant professor. The Candidates can apply for the NET exam if they have completed the post-graduation degree. Refer official notification at NTA website for the eligibility details.
In addition, you need to choose the subject in which you have completed the PG degree. As you have completed the post-graduation in nano-science, you can apply for UGC NET Electronics. You also need to fulfill the age limit criteria for JRF while lectureship does not require any age

Hello Rich, As such, there is no proper format for the marks distribution for paper-2. The whole UGC NET exam will consist of 300 questions for 300 marks. Out of these questions, 200 questions will be from the specialised subject.

Hello Afiya, NTA expanded the age limit for the UGC NET exam. UGC NET age limit criteria are as follows:
The minimum age required is 30 years (general category), 33years LL. M. graduates), 35 years (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender/Female candidates). There is no age limit for the post of an Assistant Professor. The minimum educational qualification required is that a candidate has completed their Post-Graduation with the minimum 55% (General category) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender). Hello Bapu, There is not much difference between 1-year or 2-year LL. M. course. It depends on the specialisation and the college norms. Yes, you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET under Law subject, as you have the post-graduation and that's what the UGC NET eligibility says. Hello Vanya, Yes, you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET in Management subject, code no. Is 17. Integrated courses are accepted by the NTA. Such courses are given equal weightage as the post-graduation courses. Hello Tarak, As per your qualifications you can appear in the UGC NET exam but only when you complete you 1st year that would be 2nd semester. You will be eligible when your will be in the final semester of your posy-graduation. With this you can start your preparation for UGC NET Social Work. Aspirants who pursued master's degree in Education can apply for UGC NET Education subject. This is the minimum eligibility criteria for the National Eligibility Test. If you are applying for UGC NET for JRF then the age limit is 30 years. But if you want to apply for Lectureship then there is no age limit. Hello, On behalf of UGC, NTA (National Testing Agency) conducted the UGC NET Exam. This exam is held twice in a year (June and December). There are almost 81 subjects are included for which candidates can apply.
There is two paper included in UGC NET Paper 1 and paper 2. It is a computer-based test in which no negative marking for a wrong answer or unattempted questions. Time duration is also fixed as 1 hr and 2 hr for paper 1 and paper 2 respectively.
