Hi Sagaria, No, there is no GK section in UGC NET. But from December 2018 NTA changed the exam pattern. UGC NET is noe conducted in 2 paper where Paper-1 is a general aptitude paper which is common for all the aspirants and Paper-2 is the selective paper. Hi,
The best way to get any update and notification is by checking the official site itself. However, usually official websites release the notifications suddenly at the last moment which makes it really difficult to keep the track. It is not possible to check the website for notification every hour leading to miss the date.

NTA conducts the UGC NET twice in a year in the month of June and December. NTA is conducting its second UGC NET exam from 20th June for 7 days. If you missed the chance to appear for the June 2019 don't worry, you can apply for the next phase which will be conducted on December. From December 2018, UGC NET exam will be conducting only in CBT I. e. Computer Based Test or Online Test and all the other activities like online form will also accepted in online form online. Before applying for the NEET December 2019, you are suggested to check the UGC NET eligibility criteria also. You can check it from the below-provided lin
