NTA and UGC updated the guidelines for the UGC NET exam from the June cycle exam. The candidates appearing in the exam can check the latest updates by the Agency and Commission below:The UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted in pen-paper mode (OMR) for both papers. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET June application on April 20, 2024. The last date for the UGC NET application form was May 19, 2024. However, the candidates could pay the application fee for the NTA NET June cycle till May 20, 2024, and application correction window was activated between May 21 to 23, 2024. The NTA UGC NET exam is scheduled to be conducted between August 21 to September 4, 2024.

Therefore, having a postgraduate degree in HRM will meet the educational qualifications needed to apply for UGC NET 2024.

Yes, you can take the UGC NET English exam even if you have completed your M.Sc in Environmental Science. In order to be eligible for UGC NET, you should have completed you post graduate degree. Thus, you can appear. However, since the domains are completely different, it may have a complementary affect as well.

Yes, you are eligible for appearing for UGC NET if you have completed you Mastersin Orthopedics. The minimum eligibility criteria for UGC NET is to have completed a post graduation degreee from a recognised board. Since, your field of specialisation is Orthopaedics, there is a wide range of medical subjects available to choose from like Social Medicine and Community health. Else, if your interest is inclined to something, you can even get ahead with that. All the best!

UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) exam is conducted in online mode also known as computer based test (CBT). Candidates are required to appear for the test at designated test centers where a computer terminal will be available for them to answer questions. The exam is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and candidates must select their answers on a computer screen during the allotted time for each part of the exam.
