If you are an MBA Agribusiness student the most relevant subject to choose for the UGC NET exam would be "Management" as it encompasses the core concepts of business management which are applicable to the agribusiness sector as well.While some ICAR universities may consider your UGC NET Management scorecard for some non-agriculture-specific positions like management roles it is not accepted in general for the admissions into purely agricultural research programs of the ICAR universities.

No, you cannot apply for the UGC NET exam in sociology because you have a Master's degree in social work which is different and not relevant.

The Library and Information Science (Subject Code 59) UGC NET December 2024 test is set on January 3, 2025, during the first shift, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. UGC NETIt will be administered as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). About a week before to the exam date, candidates can obtain their admit cards from the official website. To allow for security checks and the seating arrangements make sure you have all the required paperwork and get to the testing location well in advance.

Yes, you will get a piece of very coarse paper for the solving during the UGC NET examination. Blank sheets to make rough work inside the examination room will be given by NTA. The important aspect that you need to learn about is that you're not allowed to carry anything as paper or stationery within the exam center but get everything provided there at the examination venue itself. Candidates are supposed to submit the rough sheets to the invigilator upon the completion of the test. This enables you to perform calculations for logical reasoning and data interpretation without any hassle in the test.
