History Paper 2 comprised questions about early, medieval, and modern history in equal weightage. However, no questions were asked from Post Independent Sections. The Chronological, Books and Authors' questions were dominant in the question paper. A few questions were repeated from last year like questions related to Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Dara Sikoh, Mughal Battles, etc. On the other hand, the paper 1 in the History UGC NET exam was easy to moderate in nature whereas the Maths was on the difficult side according to the candidates who taken the UGC NET exam 2023.
