For applying UGC exam, first of all you have to be eligible. The eligibility is 55% aggregate marks in Post Graduation in a general Candidate category and people with reserved category/Female candidates gets 5% relaxation in eligibility. You should note that, you should prepare with full zeal to REAP good results. As UGC is a competition which not only depends upon your efforts but also depends upon the efforts of other competitors and the level of exam. So, you should be ready with Plan B. You can check subject elligibility in UGC the latest notification ( more than 100 subjects ). If your subject is not in that list you can appear for subject most similar to your subject like management/ tourism administration and management. Best wishes.
