Hi,You can go for either a regular degree or a correspondence. The college should be UGC approved. The subject of the NET should be the same as that of your Masters degree. Then you can pursue a Ph.D. and become a professor in a reputed university. The Ph.D. eligibility criteria is If you belong to a general category then your minimum post-graduation marks should be more than 55%. For SC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates/Women applicants, it should be 50%. Note down your syllabus. Don't be screwed up with the topics out of the syllabus. Start with the topic you can cover faster. Mark the topics you have covered and proceed to next one. Refer good books to clear your basic concepts and logics as well as cover whole syllabus. Preparing Short-Notes is the best way of practicing your syllabus in a short time and revise everything. Notes should be very clear and well written so when you have to revise you can just open your notebook and read it.
