English literature has a vast syllabus so candidates must go for the selective & smart study. Priority should be the easy and important topics and thereafter the rest. Do PG course work first. Check the syllabus well. Other than that, UGC NET Paper 1 is scoring than Paper 2 so aspirants must focus on it well. Go for that standard and quality UGC NET Study Material for the preparation of UGC NET. Make short notes of every chapter. Now solve questions given in the book. Appear for full length mock test and work on your weak areas. Further there are previous year question papers to be solved.

1. Valid government identity proof like Aadhar Card, Passport, Ration Card.
2. Scanned Passport size Photograph & Signature.
3. Documents that confirm your qualification like Marksheet of Masters degree (Most important). However, if your final result for Masters degree is not declared at the time of filling online form, you can mention it in the form. UGC NET Exam will be conducted from 15t

You can apply for the UGC NET exam if the university you have completed the Post-graduation , is UGC Approved.
The NTA conducts UGC NET and CSIR NET exam for the assistant professor and junior research fellowship. The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the UGC Norms as follows:
Educational: post-graduation degree with more than 55% marks from UGC approved universities.
Age: There is no age limit criteria for the NET lectureship but age must be below 30 years for UGC NET JRF exam.
There are some reservation applicable for reserved category candidates.

The strategy that you should implement to crack the UGC NET commerce by self-study is
Be familiar with the latest exam pattern and the syllabus. Manage your time well, time is precious, you cannot afford wasting time on things which do not worth it as per exam perspective so be strict about what to study or what not, more than that assigned time to topics as per the priority only. Do not forget to practice a variety of test papers, previous year test papers is a must-do. Appear for full-length model test papers along.

Education syllabus is vast so keep the following points in mind while preparing for UGC NET. Don't be screwed up with the topics out of the syllabus. Start with easy topics. Mark the topics you have covered and proceed to the next one. Always refer to quality study material for your UGC NET preparation. No short cut but smart work will help you, at least once you will have to go through the entire syllabus but make short notes from the very beginning of your preparation. Paper 1 is important so prepare well for it. Do not skip revision on a daily basis and practice a variety of questions on every topic.

While preparing for UGC NET one must focus well on both paper 1 and paper 2. Before starting the preparation for English literature candidate must do the PG coursework such as knowledge about literary periods, writers and their major works. Also, candidate need to start early for the examination.
