NSB Bangalore offers a two-year full-time MBA+MIP as its flagship course comprising four semesters of a UGC-recognised and NAAC 'A+' accredited programme. Yes, Bangalore Institute of Management Studies (BIMS) is University Grants Commission approved. Bangalore Institute of Management Studies is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of Karnataka. It is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which is a statutory body of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GoI). Yes, GNIOT Group Of Institutions has been Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.) And henceforth holds the right of UGC Approval and offers Degrees granted by the UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956 are recognised, subject to programme approval by the relevant SPCs, wherever applicable.

Yes, candidates UGC CSIR qualification are exempted from PhD entrance test. However, they have to sit for an interview round conducted by the University.

As per the information available of the official website of the University, Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University degree and post-graduate degree programmes are duly recognised and approved by the ‘ University Grant Commission (UGC)’.
