Both these countries have part time work schemes for its international students. But, off late a number of rules and regulations have changed in both. If you have been viewing international news and have been updating yourself with global affairs you will know that UK 's work permit options for international graduates that is after you complete your studies have gone very rigid and strict. If you are planning to stay and work in UK after studies its not going to be easy. News is also there that India does not recognize one year MS degrees from UK anymore. To enter into any technical programme a solid background in mathematics is essential. The primary or main eligibility criteria is a very good Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Around 75% is least recommended for consideration by the high ranked universities. High quality projects and research work are also required. An additional English language test is required which is the IELTS. The universities have their IELTS score requirement, some may have 6.5 or some 7 and higher, in UK its usually more than 7 if you are applying for Masters. UK and Australia accepts 15 years education or the 3 year undergraduate course from India. In general, you can study, but you must also see that you have good marks in your B.Sc. And, you must also take the TOEFL or IELTS. IELTS is more accepted in these countries. An overall band score of 6.5 is required. The top universities will normally require more than 65%. In UKCAT exam, if you score 700 in each section, it's considered good or competitive. Try to keep atleast 600+. You must also take the IELTS and in class 12th your percentile must be a first-class score. Study hard, all the best.
