Hi Botham, to study in UK you must take the IELTS. For good universities they require higher IELTS like 6.5 or 7. No other exams are required. You have to apply through UCAS portal before the deadlines. Eligibility is different with different universities. A first class is required for the top ranked colleges but you must check the university websites in details and UCAS website before you apply.

You are advised to do a short-term course on computer hardware maintenance and repair so that you have good hands on exposure on PCB repairs. This knowledge will be helpful in circuit design and its practicals.

Dear Raj,
Beware, we don't call it B.Tech. In UK we call it either B.Eng or BE or simply Bachelor of engineering. Imperial College London, Manchester University, Warwick University, Cranfield University, University of Edinburgh, Herriot Watt University, Universities of Oxford and Cambridge are some of the best.

Hi,
Scholarships are on merit basis, qualifying BMAT will not essentially mean you will get scholarships. You must additionally have excellent academic grades. Please also check with UCL and Imperial College, you will find scholarship information on their website.
