B.Tech and B.Sc courses are available in biotechnology. The four-year B.Tech curriculum focuses on the technological applications in biology. The three-year B.Sc course is conducted as any other science subject and the students can go for the M.Sc course and take up research later. The B.Tech course is the better option. Selection will be on the basis of the engineering entrance examination and marks obtained in plus two or equivalent examinations in science subjects.

Both the career options are good for abroad as both are in demand over there. However for MBA, you need to have some experience where as for Biotech you can get direct admission by qualifying entrance exam.

To pursue any Master's degree from UK, you will need the following:
1. Select the universities that offer the course.
2. IELTS/TOEFL both are accepted but do check with the specific requirements.
3. GMAT is accepted for management courses only
4. Bachelor's degree of 3/4 years as per their requirement.
