University College of Engineering, Patiala is a government engineering college. It is the second good college for engineering after Punjab University in Punjab for B.Tech.

In our country, people truly believe on IITs and NITs for B.Tech but due to downfall, these are also losing its position. Apart from these, private colleges like BITS, SRM, Nirma University, RMA, VIT, SKIT-Jaipur UPES-Dehradun and Galgotias University are getting high value.
