Yes, you can get into the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) at Panjab University with a 70 percent score in PU UGLAW. The eligibility criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce LLB (Hons.) program at UILS is a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 examination from any recognized Board/University. Certainly. My friend passed out LLB in 2022 from PU. The Faculty Members were all very good and they taught us with lot of dedication. There were part time Faculty Members also, and some of them rose to be Judges of High Court and also Supreme Court. I am sure the quality of Faculty even today would be as good as it was then. I am not saying so because Law Dept. PU, happens to be my Alma Mater, but because I see a lot of pass outs do well as lawyers . The university otherwise also has a glorious past to substantiate its credentials. University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University, Chandigarh for B.A. LL.B. is through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC) from any recognised Board/University are eligible to apply for the CET [2].
