Every year, the cutoff for admitting students to University Institute of Technology, Burdwan depends on factors such as the number of applicants in a particular year, WBJEE exam difficulty, and the number of available seats.You can download and check the previous year cutoff from websites like Shiksha . But it will be better to wait till the official cutoff is out along with the result of counselling taken out by WBJEE.

The admissions for the academic year 2024-25 are closed. Here's a general process of admissions for B.E. / B.Tech at UIT Burdwan:Appears for WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination). Applications are usually in December.Qualifies for WBJEE and gets a good rank. The admission is on the basis of WBJEE ranks.Appears for WBJEE counselling (usually April 2025). During counselling, selects UIT Burdwan.Pays counselling fees and attends document verification if selected.There are no management quota seats. The University Institute of Technology, Burdwan is one of the best-known government engineering colleges in the state of West Bengal, renowned for its quality of education and placement record which is exceptionally good in most core branches like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering, having very experienced professors.It may not be as famous as some of the top IITs or NITs, but it is a reputed institution in this region and is considered good for engineering aspirants from West Bengal.
