International applicants who wish to study graduate programme at the University of Alberta must submit the GRE score. Most of the graduate programs at the university require a GRE score for admission. However, there are some Alberta University courses that do not require GRE score for admission. After successfully submitting the University of Alberta application, you will have access to the UAlberta Launchpad portal to check your application status and review any checklist items for your program. Apart from this, you will also get a new UAlberta email address, a unique student number, and a Campus Computing ID (CCID). Your CCID and student ID numbers are issued as applications are processed.

The University of Alberta has one major intake for UG and PG admission i.e., Fall intake. However, international students can apply for Spring & Summer 2025 intake for undergraduate admission. Most UAlberta MBA Programs have one intake each year i.e., Fall Term. The university has both a Winter Term (January) and a Fall Term start for the Part-Time MBA programme (including FastTrack). There are no specific rounds of admission and applications are evaluated on a rolling basis.
