Research Masters, which include a thesis or research portfolio of at least 90 points
Taught Masters, which are usually comprised of taught courses, but may include a dissertation or research project of less than 90 points. Admission to a 120 point Master's degree

Yes, it is a good option to study ME in the University of Auckland in NZ, if you are able to secure a seat there. You will like NZ and also be eligible later for post study work visa and PR.
