The programs have specific criteria and deadline for the applicants. The institute offers admission in two intakes i.e. Winter and Summer. The University of Barcelona admission process requires international students to apply for the UB admission through the online application, submit a copy of application and also submit other application materials by the deadline. The deadline is Nov 16, 2024 for the summer intake. Applicants should also meet the program requirements and English language proficiency requirement through IELTS or TOEFL. For the teaching purposes, the University of Barcelona utilizes both Catalan and Spanish, as both languages hold co official status in Catalonia. Additionally, depending on the specific requirements of each faculty, some subjects may also be taught in English. But international students are recommended to learn Spanish before going to University of Barcelona as its helpful and essential to learn the country language.
