The acceptance rate at the University of California San Francisco is around 13%, hence making admissions to the university somewhat selective and competitive. On the other hand, the acceptance rate to the University of California San Diego is 24%, making admissions to the university slightly competitive and selective in comparison to the University of California San Francisco. Other eligibility criteria also need to be taken into consideration such as the English Language Proficiency Test Scores accepted by the universities.
