With an acceptance rate of 82%, the University of Illinois Springfield is easy to get into for international candidates. However, the high acceptance rate does not imply that the university selects everyone who is applying. The university follows certain selection criteria that include academic scores, standardized test scores, English language Proficiency scores, and other activity participation. The Capital Scholars (CAP) Honors Program Scholarships are offered for new first-year students. These scholarships are competitive and open to all students who are admitted to the CAP Honors program.
