The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test is required for graduate admission at the University of Iowa for international students. International students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 to get admission at the University of Iowa. According to Iowa admission report, the Median GPA for class of 2027 is 3.83 on a scale of 4.0. There is International Distinction in Education Award which offers USD 500 - USD 10,000 per year based on the students' academic records.
