Jammu University offers OC & MIL Scholarships, Postgraduate Scholarships, and more specific ones for LLB courses. Merit as well as Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships are also provided for undertaking Diploma courses. A contingency grant for eligible scholars is also covered in the University Research Scholarship.

Every application form must be submitted with class 10 and 12th mark sheets, a bachelor's degree if pursued, a passport-sized photograph, an Aadhar card, and a caste certificate in case it is required. For MBA applicants, a registration number from CAT/ MAT is a necessity. Application fee for JUET: The application fee in the general category is INR 650, and for SC, ST, and ST (Leh & Kargil) candidates, it is INR 550.

Application forms for entry into Jammu University can be downloaded from the website and posted by candidates after affixing the payment slip if downloaded from the website, or attaching online bank challans copies.

Application forms for Jammu University can be filled up and submitted only through the university's official website. The applicant has to send the application fee in the form of a Jammu & Kashmir Bank Challan. Only one application is allowed to be submitted for admission at Jammu University by one candidate.

The cut off mark for B.A. LL.B course of The Law School, University of Jammu is not the same every year, keeping in view factors such as the number of applicants, number of seats, and general, SC/ST, etc. categories. Generally, during these recent years, the cut-off has been lying among the general category students in the qualifying examination, Class 12th, between 75% to 85%. Reserved categories usually have lower cutoffs. Since admission is competitive, higher your marks, better will be your chances of getting in.
