University of Jammu releases results in the form of merit lists. Candidates with their names in the seat allotment list are provisionally admitted to the respective courses. The shortlisted candidates need to report to the University of Jammu within the due date for each counselling round and submit the fees. After fee submission, candidates are required to verify the required documents to confirm their seats for final admission at the University of Jammu. If the confirmation of admission is not done before the final date, then the allotment will be cancelled.

The University of Jammu accepts NEET UG scores for admission to the B.Des course. NEET UG cutoff 2023 was concluded after the release of the Round 3 of the Seat Allotment Result. As per the Jammu University NEET UG cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for the General All India category student was 39425. Central University of Jammu accepts CUET UG scores for admission to variou undergraduate and integrated courses. Central University of Jammu CUET UG cutoff 2023 has been released up to Round 5. CUET UG cutoff for Central University of Jammu ranged between 170.11 and 60. So, considering the previous year cutoff trends for Central University of Jammu, 350 is not a good score to get admission.
