For admission to UG courses at Central University of Jammu, students need to fulfil a basic eligibility criteria. Aspirants need to pass Class 12 with respective subjects from a recognised board. After fulfiling the eligibility criteria, students need to qualify CUET UG exam with valid score. For admission to Central University of Jammu UG courses, students need to qualify CUET UG exam. Candidates with a valid CUET-UG score are eligible to register for the counselling round. To be eligible for CUET-UG counselling round, candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the University. The final selection is based on the merit list released by the university. For BTech, JEE Main score is required for admission.

IIM Jammu is a relatively new institution and was established on 2016. It is mentored by IIM Lucknow, which is one of the top management institute of India. The faculty, peer Groups and courses of the university are top notch. Placements are also good. IIM Jammu Placements 2023 concluded with 100% Placements. Average Package increased by 19% which stood at INR 16.5 LPA whereas IIM Jammu the highest Package stood at INR 64 LPA. Recruiters like Aditya Birla Group, Cognizant, ICICI Bank, Capgemini, Accenture Deloitte Participated in the placement drive of 2023. Social life is vibrant enough.
