Lucknow University offers a wide range of courses at the UG, PG and Diploma, and PhD levels. The admission to most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses are based on Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET), Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test (UGPET) and Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET). Candidates must appear for the University of Lucknow's in-house entrance exams. For this, candidates can visit the official website and fill out the admission form.

IELTS or TOEFL is not mandatory for admission to Universities like Shivaji Pune or Osmania University. Osmania University admission to PG, PG Diploma, and five-year Integrated courses is through its entrance test called Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET). For Lucknow University BCom admission candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Commerce/ Economics/ Mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 40% (for General) and 33% in case of (ST/SC) candidates. Lucknow University admission 2023 for undergraduate courses generally begins in the first week of April.

For admission in a BTech programme at University of Lucknow, it is crucial that the aspirant fulfils the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the asiprants who have passed Class 12 with at least 55% aggregate are eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Candidate must also hold the Class 12 mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.

For Lucknow University MBA admission, candidates must have a three/to four-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field of study, awarded by a University or Institute established as per law and recognised as equivalent by this University. In addition, the course aspirant should have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidate must also hold the official documents for the same.
